Earlier this week, there was a rumored Rock Band DLC leak revealed by our friends over at RockBandAide, but it looks like Harmonix is giving us a swerve by releasing a totally different pack than we thought. What could it be? Check it out after the jump!

Rock Band DLC for 9/4 – Linkin Park 4 Pack

• Linkin Park – Breaking the Habit
• Linkin Park – Shadow of the Day
• Linkin Park – New Divide*
• Linkin Park – Burn it Down

Yup, looks like we’re getting another 4 pack of Linkin Park! Each track will run $1.99/160 Microsoft Points/200 Wii Points or you can pick up the entire 4 pack for $6.99/560 MS Points/700 Wii Points. New Divide, as noted by the asterisk, also has a pro guitar/bass upgrade available for $.99/80 MS Points/100 Wii Points.

I know my buddy Splync is gonna be annoyed we aren’t getting the rumored Blue Oyster Cult track, but I’m pumped as I do enjoy me some Linkin Park, despite how easy of a target they’ve become to make fun of.

Unfortunately, as of the time of this post, there’s been no information on whether or not there would be any Rock Band Network releases to due “a blip in the servers” as said by HMXhenry over on the official Rock Band forums. If there are any changes or updates, I’ll be sure to update the post accordingly (as long as I’m not still playing Rock Band Blitz…)
