Ars Technica is reporting that Nintendo Power, the official Nintendo magazine for over 20 years, is ending its publication bid. The magazine’s senior editor confirmed this over Twitter, stating he’s “sad to see it go”. Plans to make the final issue interesting have been voiced.

The source told Ars Technica that Future Publishing, publishers of Nintendo Power, had trouble working with Nintendo, and that Nintendo didn’t want to go with digital distribution to keep Nintendo Power fresh in the world of dying print. There has been no word if Nintendo would pick up the magazine’s publication rights or if they will just let it die.
