Another week in the world of Nintendo’s eShop, another week of mostly lackluster content, but there IS some good stuff this week. Click on through, to the other side, to see this week’s releases! Yay Doors reference!

This week’s content available on Nintendo 3DS includes:

• Toki Tori (Game Boy Color Virtual Console) – A fantastic puzzle/platformer later brought back for the Wii. – $3.99
• Speed 3DX – A first person, high speed tunnel racer. – $3.99
• Africa Unleashed 3D – Think of it as a Cabela’s game (always a classic) but in Africa! – $3.99
• Escape the Virus: Shoot’em Up – A top down shooter where you viciously murder viruses – $1.99 (Also available on the Nintendo DSi Shop for 200 Nintendo Points)
• Theatrhythm: Final Fantasy (demo version) – Play a demo of the incredibly fun Squeenix rhythm game featuring your favorite Final Fantasy tunes to see if it’s worth picking up! (Spoiler: It is.)

The standout for me is definitely Toki Tori. The Wii version was fantastic on it’s own, but now you can check out the Game Boy Color original in all of it’s glory. Another great pick if you don’t already own it is the Theatrhythm demo. I loved the game and if you’re at all a fan of Final Fantasy or rhythm games, it’d be a smart move to pick up the demo to see why the game is so fun and addictive.
