I love crazy, quirky things and anybody who knows anything about me will also tell you that I love animals as well.
Sony‘s PS3 downloadable effort, Tokyo Jungle, is just the thing for me then. As the trailer at the bottom of the article ably demonstrates, its pretty heavily steeped in both insanity and rampaging furries.
Containing everything from a squad of militant, hard-hat wearing cats, through to Veloiciraptors, procreating Panda’s and a group of stealthy, fluffy chicks, the game looks like its going to be a blast indeed; with each group of animals fighting for control over a post-apocalyptic Tokyo landscape.
While no Western release has been confirmed for Tokyo Jungle, I figure that its presence at Gamescom means that such an announcement is a matter of ‘when’, rather than ‘if’.

Is it sad that I find more excitement in the release of this obscure little game than I do almost every AAA title due over the next few months?
Not at all; its a shame others don’t have this little gem on their radars either quite frankly.
