So, I’m kinda mad at our editor in chief Kyle Gaddo for beating me to the punch on the Rock Band Blitz announcement this morning. I’m pretty excited about this game and you should be too, if not for the incredibly fun, addictive gameplay, then for the fact that you’ll be getting 20+ songs for only $15.
Now not all the songs have been officially announced quite yet, but with today’s announcement, a rumored setlist that floated around last month seems to be coming true…
In our last news post about Rock Band Blitz (well, the one before today) we received a mysterious comment saying that they had the rest of the setlist for Rock Band Blitz, however, with how common custom songs are in the Rock Band series, these rumors were dismissed. Here is the setlist they gave, notice anything?
- Avenged Sevenfold – So Far Away
- Foo Fighters – These Days
- Fun. – We Are Young (featuring Jeanelle Monae)
- Kelly Clarkson – Stronger (What Doesn’t Kill You)
- Kool & The Gang – Jungle Boogie
- Maroon 5 – Moves Like Jagger (featuring Christina Aguilera)
- My Chemical Romance – Sing
- Queen – Death on Two Legs
- Red Hot Chili Peppers – Give It Away
- Soundgarden – Spoonman
The four songs that were announced today were ALL in this setlist that was leaked about a month ago (marked in bold above for clarity). So it is looking likely that the other songs in this list will fill out the rest of the Rock Band Blitz setlist.
However, there is always the chance that things may be changed at the last minute, and Harmonix will switch some songs around, or there is even a small chance that this leaked setlist got lucky with all four songs announced today being on their list. So while it does seem likely, take the information with a grain of salt.
For the sake of a complete list, below is a list of songs that have been officially announced:
- All-American Rejects – “Kids in the Street”
- Barenaked Ladies – “One Week”
- Collective Soul – “Shine”
- Elton John – “I’m Still Standing”
- Fall Out Boy – “A Little Less Sixteen Candles”
- Iron Maiden – “Wicker Man”
- Living Colour – “Cult of Personality”
- P!nk – “Raise Your Glass”
- Shinedown – “Diamond Eyes”
- Tears for Fears – “Shout”
- Blink 182 – “Always”
- Foster the People – “Pumped Up Kicks”
- Great White – “Once Bitten, Twice Shy”
- Quiet Riot – “Metal Health”
- Rick Springfield – “Jessie’s Girl”
- Avenged Sevenfold – “So Far Away”
- Fun. ft. Janelle Monáe – “We Are Young”
- Kool & The Gang – “Jungle Boogie”
- My Chemical Romance – “Sing”
So how does the setlist shape up for you? Are you willing to pay the discounted price to take the good songs with the bad ones? If the leak is true, how do you feel about repaying for Give it Away and Spoonman (which were both missing from the Rock Band 2 export)? What song are you most excited for, whether it is from this leak or from the official announcements? Let us know in the comments below!

Just FYI, stems (8 tracks) of Queen – Death On Two Legs have leaked, so this would seem genuine.
