Creeping out of this year’s Comic-Con is a new trailer for Capcom’s forthcoming straight to DVD and Blu-Ray CG movie, Resident Evil: Damnation.

Once again series stalwart Leon Kennedy finds himself in the center of a horror shitstorm, this time focused in central Europe where some really bad men have gotten hold of the bio-organic weapons created by the Umbrella Corporation and intend to sow major amounts of discomfort amongst the general populace with them.

The trailer itself holds little in the way of surprises; depicting above-average CG work and the sort of focus on up-close and personal slo-mo, that might make you think you’ve gone to sleep and woken up in 2004.  Still, the trailer does push at least a couple of fan-service coloured buttons with the inclusion of Ada Wong and what looks to be Krauser, from the popular series favourite Resident Evil 4.

Hopefully it’ll be better than 2008′s Resident Evil: Degenration.  Though, to do so, wouldn’t exactly be any sort of mean feat.

Resident Evil: Damnation is due to be released on DVD & Blu-Ray on September 24th, 2012.

Well, at least it can’t be any worse than the live action movies, right?

@resifan, It shouldn’t be and it does look marginally better than RE: Degeneration – but that isn’t really saying much :)
