In a somewhat surprising move, SEGA have now confirmed that the home console and PC downloadable re-releases of cult Dreamcast favourite Jet Set Radio will be accompanied by iOS and Android versions this Summer.

As well as high-resolution, super sharp visuals, one nifty little feature that the smartphone and tablet versions will have is the ability to cameras attached to those devices to create graffiti which can then be used within the game.

Visually the game looks incredibly close to the console versions, but my main concern lies with the touchscreen controls; I just don’t think they will be responsive or precise enough for the acrobatic demands of the game.

Time will tell I guess.

Jet Set Radio is also due to release on PC, Xbox 360, PS3 and PS Vita platforms sometime this Summer.
