Nintendo has just announced during their pre-E3 announcement the official name of the Wii U controller, as well as pointing out an important change in its design since the prototype… the inclusion of two proper analogue sticks.

Alongside the reveal, Nintendo elaborated on a number of other functions that the controller will have. It will have built it video cam abilities, a web browser, and an online messaging system allowing gamers to text chat with lots of other players while playing their favourite games.

This will all be part of a broader online “MiiVerse” concept that Nintendo hopes will bring players together in a way unique and different from the competition. We’ll have more information as there is any.
