Alongside its many other reveals, the GameTrailers Pre-E3 event revealed a new trailer for Platinum Games‘ gory new take on the Metal Gear franchise, Metal Gear Rising, confirming a release date for the game some time in early 2013.

It’s cheesy, it’s poorly acted, and the gameplay looks great, so it’ll fit in just fine with the rest of the franchise! Check it out after the cut.
