Sony’s press conference today included a 5-minute demo of Far Cry 3′s co-op multiplayer. First thoughts? Afterthought.
Far Cry 3′s co-op debuted today with less of a bang and more of a wimper. Seemingly shoehorned in, the short co-op segment featured last-gen graphics, horribly scripted AI, and some less than stellar animations. A short romp through a jungle area leading to a dramatic conclusion at a bridge, it hinted at a mission-based co-op experience, with nothing of the “plot” hinted at in the single player.
Still, more features can’t be a bad thing, right?
