Not that this is surprising news to a lot of you eagerly anticipating the release of Rocksmith PC, but I’ve had confirmation that the PC version of Ubisoft‘s real guitar game has been pushed back once again. Previously, the title was delayed until May of this year, but some Amazon users have been getting emails saying that the their pre-orders have been held until December 2012.

As many of you know, this more or less acts as a placeholder for when a company does not know the exact release date of a title. However, I reached out to producer Nao Higo regarding this occurrence and it seems Ubisoft has “decided to line up the release of the PC version with the European and Japanese releases of Rocksmith this fall.”

The PC version will have “additional features not included in the original release” and “numerous improvements and tweaks to existing features for a better overall experience.” More details will be announced at E3 in June.

Ok, so maybe I won’t cancel my pre-order just yet, and keep my fingers crossed that there are no more postponements.
