Last week, Ubisoft dropped a hint for today’s Rocksmith DLC which was deciphered to be “King of the Blues” along with a picture of B.B.King‘s iconic guitar Lucille. Well yes, we got one song from him, but that isn’t all.
This week’s Blues Singles are:
- B.B. King – “The Thrill Is Gone“
- Albert King featuring: Stevie Ray Vaughan – “Born Under A Bad Sign“
- The Blues Brothers – “Soul Man“
Each song can be had for $2.99 (240 MPS), no pack is available.
This is the straw that broke the camel’s back. Every time new DLC was announced I harped on about how three dollars for one song was too expensive. However, I can not resist The Blues Brothers, one of the first bands I ever liked, and one of my favorite songs no less! I never thought that they would be brought into any music game so all I can say is thank you Rocksmith, take all of my money.
Tell us your take! Have you found a song that you absolutely love in Rocksmith? Is there a certain band/song that will make you spend $3 if it arises? Let us know in the comments.

I will gladly pay three dollars for any Cowboy Junkies songs.
Alice in Chains
Rush
Thin Lizzy
I forked over my hard earned $$ for The Black Keys pack!
I would also pay for
Opeth
JET
Alice in Chains
Raconteurs
Rollins Band
@Silvos, I too would absolutely pay for any Raconteurs songs, or any additional Jack White songs for that matter.
Also, I’d like to add to the list:
The Gaslight Anthem
(I’m gonna see them tomorrow!)
Alice in Chains for sure..
Them Bones
And We Die Young
Would?
Man in the Box – would be a good starter song..
Check my Brain
i was very disappointed here bc SRV did not ever play in standard i wish theyd release more SRV but in his tuning im sure its not that hard to add a patch for tunings other than standard or drop D makin it easier to release more songs figure they work on rock band too so they already have lease on copyrights on alot of songs just transfer it over. the only challenging DLC was megadeth n painkiller by priest hope for some more in that area like G n R but in the right tuning half step
