Thanks to a Tweet by Geoff Keighley, it’s been confirmed that Disney Epic Mickey 2 is real. It has been confirmed to be a co-op third person game featuring both Mickey Mouse and Oswald the Lucky Rabbit. The co-op is drop in/drop out. Oh, one more thing…it’s a musical.

Yep, Warren Spector, creator of Epic Mickey and other classics such as Thief, has gone on the record saying the game will be written as a musical. I’m surprised someone’s attempting this, but it’s a perfect fit for a Disney game. Disney Epic Mickey 2: The Power of Two, will be released on Wii, PS3, and Xbox 360.
