Serebii.net is reporting that Junichi Masuda, director of Pokemon, just announced on the Pokemon Smash TV show that the next entries into the Pokemon series of games will be Pokemon Black 2 and White 2. This comes as a surprise, because where the heck is Grey.

With this announcement, Masuda also introduced new forms of the Pokemon Kyurem that match up with Black/White’s legendaries, and a new movie poster has announced the arrival of new Pokemon. This is the first time that there will be four games in one generation, and will be for the Nintendo DS. No other news has been released, but hopefully an issue of CoroCoro will give us more.

No new Pokemon to catch this time around. Meloetta is being introduced officially in the movie, though it was already in the game code of Black/White.

I am very VERY excited about this. This isn’t a remake, this a sequel. A SEQUEL. It could be after the protagonist has become Champion, or it could be his/her child, or the return of Team Plasma, whatever it is, it better be good!

my question is: Where is the Ruby/Sapphire remakes?! i can’t die without those. they could even have great names: AbyssSapphire and FissureRuby. they flow so well.
