UPDATE: Word has it that the game will retail for $49.99, like most other new Wii games, and be sold exclusively through GameStop and Nintendo’s official website. That’s directly from Nintendo PR.

ORIGINAL: It was only a matter of time, and it proves that if you bitch enough to a company, you’ll eventually get what you want. Unless that company is Capcom. Nintendo has finally announced that they are releasing the very awesome Xenoblade Chronicles in North America.

Due out in April of 2012, there are not a whole lot of details surrounding its release stateside aside from its arrival month. No telling if there are going to be changes from the European version for NA audiences.

But with Xenoblade Chronicles on the way, that hopefully means that Operation Rainfall is succeeding. With that in mind, we could very well see The Last Story and Pandora’s Tower making their way to North American territories in 2012 as well.
