Are you salivating at the banner yet? Not quite sure what that is? Hyperkin are proud to announce the SUPABOY Portable Pocket SNES Console, a portable Super Nintendo Entertainment System that runs all your SNES AND Super Famicom cartridges.

Retailing for $79.99, the SupaBoy will give you at-home or on-the-go entertainment with your favorite old school games from (arguably) the best era of gaming. With 2.5 hours of internal battery life, a headphone jack for private listening, the 3.5″ (diagonal) LCD screen, and weighing in at 11.5 ounces (sans cartridge), it’s the perfect system for a quick commute to and from work or to play on break. Heck, it even has the same design as a the SNES controller, shoulder buttons and all.

Alternatively, if you’re playing at home, the dandy little console has two front-loading controller ports so you can play with a friend. Not good enough to play on a 3.5″ screen? Fine. It’s got an AV Out built right in so you can plug into a TV and play on a much larger screen.

Leo Liang, Hyperkin’s National Sales Director, said that there is “definitely a nostalgia factor for the SupaBoy for the older generation of gamers who grew up with the Super Nintendo. Yet, at the same time, it introduces and exposes the new generation of gamers to this beloved console.”

The handheld is available for pre-order through the link above, so, like, COME ON AND JUST GET ONE. For another great Hyperkin product, check out our review for Hyperkin PowerPlus for 3DS.
