Platinum Games, famous for crazy titles like Bayonetta, Vanquish, and the upcoming Metal Gear sequel, were going to release Anarchy Reigns (a semi-sequel to the black, white, and red gorefest Madworld), next month but seemed to have hit a snag.
Reasons remain vague with simply “it has to do with its scale” as stated by Gary Knight, Senior Vice President of Marketing at SEGA West. I just hope they make good use of the extra time to make something truly epic.
You can now expect the game in the US on July 3rd, 2012 and in Europe July 5th.
Just a correction; this isn’t a sequel to MadWorld. It just happens to include the main character in its roster.
Looking forward to this, even if it’s six months later than planned.
I thought this game is already out, last time I check was in mid december and months before that, this game just keeps getting pushed back , and when it does gets release is gonna suck ass just like “duke nukem forever”.
