Since 1924, Macy’s has held an annual parade to bring in Thanksgiving Day across the country. This year of 2011, one beloved blue mascot was chosen above all others to lead the troupe. The year of his 20th birthday, SEGA‘s Sonic the Hedgehog was first in line for the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade, so enjoy these lovely pictures of everyone’s favorite hedgehog rising high above the New York streets.
