A new Wii bundle is to hit shelves the 23rd of October, probably Nintendo‘s last push to capitalize of the Wii before the WiiU hits shelves (hopefully) next year. This bundle includes a black Wii, one Wii Remote (or Wiimote if you wish) with built-in Wii Motion Plus, a nunchuk to go with it and some other pretty good additions. Learn more about them and the price after the jump.
Also included is a copy of the game New Super Mario Bros. Wii. A great game, but for fans to really enjoy it, Nintendo should have made this bundle include two controllers, seeing as, while it is a great game, the multiplayer is what makes it really fun. In addition to this, those who buy this bundle will get a Super Mario Galaxy soundtrack that is not to be sold separately.
But, while these two additions are good, there is the aforementioned lack of Gamecube support, so don’t expect to buy this and be able to play Mario Kart Double Dash or Smash Bros. Melee. Though, you do have the option of playing Mario Kart Wii and Smash Bros. Brawl as replacements, should you so choose.
The bundle will be out later this month and is priced at $149.99, a decent value for the content you are getting, don’t you think?

Considering you can buy one with GameCube support for 149.99 with Mariokart Wii, I don’t see any upside to buying this.
@Eric, You do get New Super Mario Bros Wii, a really great game and the Wii Motion Plus. This bundle seems to be targeted at late-comers to the Wii party, maybe casual gamers who would like to try this and see what it’s all about before it’s taken off the shelves and they may not really need the Gamecube support.
@Petter S. Nilsen, I would rather play Mario Kart than NSMB.
@Kyle Gaddo, Not to mention the old consoles come with Wii motion+ built into the controllers too.
