Grasshopper Manufacture‘s new game, Lollipop Chainsaw was revealed in this week’s Famitsu, and it’s looking just as crazy as everything you’d expect from Grasshopper.
Lollipop Chainsaw stars Juliet, probably the only female protagonist in a Grasshopper game, who’s a student at San Romero High. She fights zombies. In a cheerleading outfit. You’re welcome.
The traditional blood and gore that usually follows in any zombie game is switched out for a bright pink, adding to the game’s pop feel. Shine on Grasshopper, you crazy diamond. No word on how involved Suda 51 is in this game, but considering he’s CEO of Grasshoppper Manufacture, his influence will probably be felt at some point.
