Ted Price took the stage at EA’s E3 press conference to offer more details on their new multiplatform game: Overstrike, which was teased at last year’s E3.

“Overstrike presents a unique blend of features that have long been a part of the Insomniac DNA: high powered gadgets, action-heavy gameplay, memorable characters in a deep and mysterious universe and of course a touch of humor,” said Insomniac CEO, Ted Price during EA’s press conference.

A trailer was shown, detailing a realistic, yet also stylised character animation. The trailer introduces the Overstrike 9, apparently a band of crazies. If the trailer is anything to go by, gameplay will be fun, frantic and about as crazy as you’d expect from the creators of Ratchet  & Clank. Overstrike appears to be a blend of Resistance and Ratchet & Clank. I really have no problem with that
