Sony‘s official US blog has revealed that the PlayStation Network has gone down, and may continue to be offline for another day or two. The same is also true for the EU servers.

The service outage is expected to be have been caused by problems with servers in Japan.

“We are investigating the cause of the Network outage, we wanted to alert you that it may be a full day or two before we’re able to get the service completely back up and running,” SCEA’s Patrick Seybold explained the US PS Blog.

“Thank you very much for your patience while we work to resolve this matter. Please stay tuned to this space for more details, and we’ll update you again as soon as we can.”

I know I’ve made some very poor decisions recently, but I can give you my complete assurance that my work will be back to normal.
