Dark Horse Comics will be publishing a 3 issue comic series based on the upcoming id Software game Rage. The first issue is scheduled for June 22nd. The series will be written by Rex Mundi writer Arvid Nelson with art by Andrew Mutti.

It’s interesting that of all the Bethesda published games, Rage was the world chosen to be explored. Bethesda’s own Elder Scrolls or Fallout series or the Splash Damage developed Brink all have richer worlds to create stories in. Of course, with Rage being more of a blank slate, Nelson and Mutti should have more creative freedom. We’ll see if it pays off on June 22nd!
