So, we recently talked about how broken Call of Duty: Black Ops is.
As it turns out, those dudes who managed over 500 kills in a single game have been banned from the game temporarily and had their ranks reset to start from scratch. The community manager at Activision said that the players were “boosting” to help their player stats.
Normally, I would be all for the banning of cheaters, but in this case, all I have to say is: Fix your damn game, Activision. Maybe if Treyarch hadn’t overlooked something as simple as spawn points, there’s a good possibility that this never would have happened and everyone could enjoy an unbroken game.

Yes, the game is broken, but that doesn’t mean THESE boosters shouldn’t be banned.

Maybe you didnt watch the video. But they showed Treyarch how busted their shit is and racked up MEGA kills by spawn-camping. Which, if I remember right, wasn’t an issue in Modern Warfare 1 OR 2.
Temp ban? Yeah, I approve of it. It shows that they found an exploit and used it, but they also reported it via the internet so Treyarch is aware of it. This isn’t something that players need to hack or cheat to do, they just need to get lucky enough to hop on the conveyor belt of killstreaks.
@Tony Bradford, Ok I agree with Blaze, but I also see your side of it. Fair enough, they exploited it and brought it to Treyarch’s attention. Should they get perm banned or temp banned? Honestly, that was some ridiculous boosting, so although they were bringing it to the dev’s attention… It’s still boosting. Ridiculous boosting…. No matter how you look at it… So I would say… Applaud them for bringing it to their attention… But permanent ban them from the game.
We need to set examples, that boosters and cheaters will follow, not appeal to your good side and show leniency because it was found and deliberately exploited.
see i dont think they should of been banned because they werent boosting its treyarch’s shitty game that basicly let them boost. ive seen spawn trap before in every game halo, cod and others. so what im saying is its not impossible to spawn trap, they just spawn trapped like extremly and truthfuly idc because its treyarch fucked up game that made it possible so treyarch this is for u.
