Rock Band developer Harmonix have confirmed that layoffs are on the way, but nothing has been said about how many are going to end up on the chopping block.

Speaking with Joystiq, Harmonix said that they were “working to ensure that those affected are well taken care of as we make this change.”

These layoffs, however, will not be detrimental to any upcoming Rock Band 3 or Dance Central DLC.
