The Rock Band 3 MIDI Pro-Adapter is finally shipping, thanks to a press release from Mad Catz themselves.
The Wii and the PS3 versions are shipping right away with the 360 peripheral “to ship imminently to Best Buy . . .”
So, the 360′s getting shafted. Great. Well, at least the Fender Stratocaster Squier isn’t coming out until March, (and the adapter will be required for that guitar) so it’s not all bad.
In the meantime, PS3 and Wii players will be able to use their MIDI-compatible devices (guitars, basses, keyboards) as fully-functional Rock Band 3 game controllers.
Amazon has the adapters listed for $29.99, but Best Buy has them listed for $39.99.

The few retailers that have it listed here in Europia, have a tentative 30/12 date. So much for wanting one for Christmas. =/
@Herman S. Lilleng, Boooooooooooo.
Mad Catz is dropping the ball on release dates, no matter how sweet the item actually is.
@Kyle Gaddo, Yup. To be fair, MTV/EA has always sucked when it came to distributing RB stuff over here, since the first one came over almost a year late. No wonder RB is a weaker brand over here. =/
@Herman S. Lilleng, Just buy it online.
