This week is the 25th anniversary of the Back to the Future series, and that not only means celebratory screenings around the globe, it also means that we get to learn new stuff about Telltale’s upcoming Back to the Future game which will be releasing on PC and Macs around December, with PS3 and iPad versions coming at a later date.

Doc Brown himself, Christopher Lloyd,  will be lending his voice to the game,. Michael J. Fox unfortunately won’t portray Marty, as he has all but retired from acting due to his Parkinson’s. So, Telltale got the next best thing, a young voice actor that sounds exactly like MJF did in the original movies.

Check out the incredible video below.

Go on over to Telltale‘s site to check out the other two behind-the-scenes videos, to see some environmental concept art, and to see Lloyd record his lines. You can also pre-order the game to receive the great game Puzzle Agent for free, as well as donating $1.00 to the Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

And from tomorrow on, you can get the Sam & Max episode Night of the Raving Dead for free as a Halloween special.

Awww man, this is like when they cast Doug Lee in the role of Indiana Jones in Fate of Atlantis. It’s good, but there’s still that one little thing missing. This is heavy, guys!

@Petter S. Nilsen, There’s that word again; “heavy”. Why are things so heavy in the future? Is there a problem with the earth’s gravitational pull?!
