This R2-D2 may not keep Princess Leia’s plea to Obi-Wan Kenobi for help, but he will let you play your Nintendo, Super Nintendo, Nintendo 64, Gamecube, Sega Dreamcast, Sega Genesis, Sony PlayStation 2, Microsoft Xbox, Atari 1800 and PC games. And if that isn’t enough for you, there’s a hideaway PSP just in case. Did I mention it’s a projector, too?

Definitely a regular jack of all trades. Check out the images of this excellently crafted piece of work by UCLA mechanical engineering grad student Brian M. Devitis after the cut. Thanks for the head’s up, Fort90!

r2d2atpax01 Here it is, lookin’ pretty unconventional…

r2d2atpax02 Whoa, wait, is that an SNES cartridge out of his side?!

r2d2atpax05 GameCube ports?!

r2d2atpax12 Here’s the projector at work.

r2d2atpax06 Aaaaand the system switcher.

r2d2atpax07 The super hideaway PSP!

Overall, pretty rad. I’d want one. Another cool fact is that this R2-D2 was originally a Pepsi container used to promote Episode I: The Phantom Menace.
