Sonic the Hedgehog 4: Episode 1 is making its way to XBLA, PSN, WiiWare and to your iPhone this fall.
That’s definitely a step in the right direction.
I’m going to remain cautiously optimistic for now.
‘Cautiouly optimistic’ is perfect. I’m so SO glad to see a Sonic game that looks good again, but with the slew of crap (aside from Sonic Adventure 1 and 2 which I actually thoroughly enjoy), it’s pretty understandable and likely expected that everyone will be weary until they’ve played.
@Zachary Lyons, What I played of it at E3 was really bad. The Sonic sprite was huge, the platforming was extremely weak, and the controls were really poor.
Getting a vibe from this trailer though that they’re listening to criticism and continuing to refine the game.
