The EA press conference is going on at Gamescom right now, and Dr. Ray Myzuka was just on stage, letting us know that Bioware’s most successful title, previously only available on 360 and PC, will be coming to PS3s in January 2011.
In addition, Dragon Age II’s lead designer was up on stage, letting us know that the game will be out at 11. March, 2011 in Europe, and 08. March in the US, along with their first pre-rendered trailer, showing of Hawke’s powers.
I guess we are looking at another Bioware-dominated Q1.

You know what would be especially awesome?
If they put Mass Effect, Mass Effect 2 and Mass Effect 3 on a single PS3 game disc.
I mean, Blu-Ray could definitely handle it and I don’t see why it’s not a plausible idea.
That shit would be SO rad.
@Kyle Gaddo, I doubt it could hold three games of Mass Effect proportions, but ME 1 & 2 would almost remove all the reasons I’ve yet to purchase a PS3
@Norlick, I dunno, I think it could. Your average BD-R can hold about 25 GB, not counting necessary buffer space. If you take into account the fact that some BR discs can hold upwards of 50 GB (with the most I’ve heard of being 100 GB worth of information), I think having all three games on a single disc is very viable.
Mass Effect has so far only been put on DVD-9s which hold 8.5 GB of information and with three discs total, that’s just a hair over 25 GB (at 25.5 GB).
It’s entirely possible.
