Lionhead has released the opening cinematic to Fable III, and it’s looking pretty damned good. As you might remember, the opening cinematic from Fable II had a bird pooping on the player character.

This time around it seems Lionhead has decided to go all out on their supposed hatred of chickens, as we follow a rebel chicken when it escapes its coop. Will it succeed or will its fate be sealed by a boiling pot? Check under the cut to find out.

We can also gather from the cinematic that Zoe Wanamaker once again reprices her role as the in-game narrator. Fable III is slated for Xbox 360 in October, and a PC date to be announced soon. Stay tuned.
