Activision have revealed the four voice-actors that will play the four different Spider-Men in Shattered Dimensions, all of them having played the webslinger before in animated series.

Most famous is the geek icon Neil Patrick Harris, known from How I Met Your Mother and the cult hit Dr. Horrible’s Sing-Along Blog. He portrayed Spidey in Spider-Man: The New Animated Series in 2003, and he will be playing the Amazing version in the game.

Josh Keaton will play the Ultimate version, the one in the symbiote suit. Keaton is a veteran video game voice, and played Spidey in The Spectacular Spider-Man in 2008. For Noir, they have Christopher Daniel Barnes, from the 1994 series, which is the one I grew up with (albeit with a Norwegian dub). Lastly, Dan Gilvezan from Spider-Man and his Amazing Friends (1983) is Spidey 2099, but you might also know him as Bumblebee from Transformers.

As far as narration duties go, they will be handled by none other than Stan “The Man” Lee. Excelsior!

One Response so far.

Stan Lee as narrator, huh? He’ll probably be hamming it up with the best of them. He tends to be good at that.
I never watched Spectacular Spider-Man, though it’ll be cool to hear how his vocal performance is. He was damned good as the Music Meister in Batman: The Brave and the Bold.
