E3 is over, which means we’re gearing up for Gamescom in Cologne, happening from the 18th to 22nd of August. It’s basically the European equivalent of E3, for those not in the know.

The first publisher to reveal their Gamescom line-up is Konami with a total snooze-fest! First up on the list is Castlevania: Lords of Shadow which we all saw at E3. I should mention I’m excited about it, but I doubt they’ll be showing off anything different than what we’ve already seen at E3.

With their big hitter out of the way, Konami also announced they’d be showing off Pro Evolution Soccer 2011, and Def Jam Rap Star, the rappers equivalent to Karaoke Revolution or Singstar.

There are also talk of some Kinect specific games, but nothing in particular has been mentioned. Konami did state that more would be revealed.

I just pray to God they don’t hold a press conference as boring and surreal as the one they held during E3.
