That first place is pretty awesome, but the second store? Oh god, I think I just died and went to gamer heaven…
There used to be a Bookman’s in Flagstaff, but well, getting over 4.5 feet of snow, the roof just couldn’t take it.
I’m so sad about all the destroyed inventory…
Excuse me while I pick my jaw off of the floor and wipe the drool from my desk….
*Angry nerd moment* WHY THE FUCK DON’T WE HAVE THIS IN NORWAY!? We need something like this! I NEED SOMETHING LIKE THIS
*Breathes* Okay. But seriously, that was incredible. Now I know where The Spoony One gets all his retro PC games.
These videos are awesome!
I see places like these close down a lot over here in the UK. It’s really sad.
Someone needs to preserve gamings history before most of it is lost.
@jamesdean, I hear there’s a video game museum set up somewhere where people can donate copies of their old games to be preserved. At least that’s something.
There’s one in France, according to a quick Google search: http://www.joystiq.com/2010/04/22/paris-has-a-new-video-game-museum/
But I hear there’s one even more extensive than this
Only problem I have with awesome video game stores like these is that if I had any bit of money on me when I walk in, I will be completely broke (and likely in debt) by the time I walk out.
This is also the same reason I’ve vowed to never go to Akihabara. So many awesome shops out there that I’d find myself taking out a loan to hang around there.
@Joe Pomerening, Agreed. I’d have to ask someone to accompany me in order to restrain me from spending too much.
