Activision recently claimed Guitar Hero was the highest selling franchise of all time, right behind house hold names like Mario and Madden. After the massive success of the original Guitar Hero release have sparked numour music-based “Hero” games like DJ Hero and Band Hero.

Now it looks like Activision is planning another Hero title. According to a trademark recently filed by Activision, Drum Hero will be the next to come, swapping out scratching and guitar riffs for drum solos. So yeah.

I’m really wondering what the point is, because aren’t we already drumming in the Guitar Hero games?
