It’s a good day to be European, it seems. A few months ago we reported that the European release of Ghostbusters: The Video Game was going to be released as a timed Playstation exclusive. Being European and an Xbox 360 owner I was, obviously, pissed.

But like I said, today is a good day to be European, because Destructoid has confirmed with Atari that the North American version of Ghostbusters for the 360 will not be region locked. So if you’re not willing to wait for a yet to be confirmed release date of the 360 version, you can import it online and pop the disc into your PAL machine.

This is awesome I say! Awesome! Ghostbusters launches June 16.
