If Lego Rock Band and Lego Battles isn’t enough for you, Activision has officially announced Lego Harry Potter (Years 1-4) for release in 2010.
You’ll get to play as Harry (du’h), Ron and Hermione as you “attend lessons, cast spells, mix potions, fly on broomsticks and complete tasks to earn house points”. Now, feel free to call me a nitpick, but haven’t we done all this in the past Harry Potter games?
“With Lego Harry Potter: Years 1-4 we are creating an open, wide-ranging experience within Hogwarts that is full of fun and LEGO magic,” said Tom Stone, Managing Director, TT Games.
“Harry Potter is one of the most beloved and well-respected characters, and we look forward to bringing gamers a new way of interacting in the universe with the LEGO games’ great humour and exploration.”
No news about platforms, but we assume it’ll just be out for all of them.

I can’t decide if this is the worst… or the greatest… idea ever…
