EA’s Patrick Söderlund said during E3 that a small development team over at DICE in Sweden is currently working on the sequel to their parkour action platformer; Mirror’s Edge 2. Söderlund said he was “excited” over the plans for the sequel.
“Mirror’s Edge was a risky move. It was a bold move, a very innovative and inspiring move,” the VP told VideoGamer in an interview. “The game wasn’t perfect by any means. We would have liked the game to sell better even though the game has sold better than most people think.
“You will see another Mirror’s Edge for sure. It’s just a matter of when that time is and what we do with it. We have a small team on it and I’m excited about what we do.”
No other details was put forth at that time. Personally I loved Mirror’s Edge, despite constantly dying, so I’m definitely psyched about a sequel. More news when they pop up.

Gotta admit, I’m surprised they even decided to create this. I was fully expecting that we’d never see a sequel.
Just another reason to love E.A.
…never thought I’d ever say those words in my life. ¬_¬
