We here at TGV have always been proud of our gaming heritage, so it comes as much delight to see that Namco are currently working on plans to bring back Pac Man for another go.

“We are in the midst of making Pac-Man come back because his 30th anniversary is in 2010 actually,” said Namco boss Makoto Iwai.

“As a group, we feel like we should do something to make him come back. So, there’s one project that we started working on, and [Yasuhara is] part of it.”

We have no idea what form the game will take, or even what formats it will appear on, but if its anywhere close to the excellent Pac-Man: Championship Edition, it’ll end up being a blast for retro fans. We’ll keep you updated!
