What makes this trailer different to the ones we’ve seen already? Well, this trailer is the first to actually show some gameplay footage. and to say it looks impressive would be an understatement.

I got jack from the trailer as far as story goes, apart from what seems like a rebellion against an evil state/corporation/whatever. The combat looked pretty epic though, but I couldn’t figure out if it was turn based or like the combat from FFXII.

The combat will be… think the traditional Final Fantasy ATB system, but in reverse.
Characters can “stack” commands between their turns, and can then unleash those moves during their turn, before going onto the next character.
Monsters will supposedly appear live on the field as they did in FFXII, but engaging them in combat will shift the camera angle and lock your team in place for the fight.
Overall impressive. I hope following trailers are more like this one instead of the disjointed scenes and 2 second gameplay like the previous ones.
As many times as I can watch that video of gameplay, I still cannot figure out how it works. English version would be awesome. *hint hint*
I r happy, it showed what it wanted to show, and some gameplay. and didnt do anything to spoil the story.
