A new Resistance 2 Advert has been scaring the Irish, by using the Metro Newspaper as an advert for thier new game. The 4 page advert was published and doesn’t even mention that it’s an advert till the last page.
It’s certainly a unique marketing strategy.

I think the metro has done something similar before but not game related. This is pretty cool though!

I’ve been seeing a lot of this type of advertising in newspapers lately, but none done so strikingly. Usually you see things like “important people says you should buy our whatever” but the fact that it’s violent and dangerous makes it fit even MORE into a real newspaper. Kudos to the marketing group on this one. I hope the idea makes it over to the Americas soon so we can watch people flip out over nothing even more than usual.
