According to a recent piece in the US Official PlayStation Magazine, Sony may be working on some sort of rewards system for those who like to horde their trophy collection. It suggests that getting a certain number of trophies or reaching a high enough level will reward players with free items.
The Official PlayStation Magazine suggests that rewards could range rewards from getting early beta access to games, or free wallpapers and themes. Take it with a grain of salt though, even if the source is OP..
If this prove to be true, Trophies will suddenly become even more lucrative…
I see legions upon legions of “hardcore” gamers digging up games again after they’ve finished them, in order to collect trophies, instead of just discarding it and moving onto the next one.

I suppose it makes me want to play more games. But…
