Polyphony Digital boss Kazunori Yamauchi confirmed GT PSP back a few months ago but further confirmation that the game is in development.
Speaking from TGS, the head of Sony Worldwide Studios, Shuhei Yoshida has stated that they are working on Gran Turismo PSP even though it has been a few years since the game was first announced.
Yoshida attributes the delay to Polyphony Digital working on other game titles namely being Gran Turismo 5 Prologue and Gran Turismo 5 for the PS3. He also provided a timeframe for the game to be released after Gran Tursimo 5 makes it debut which means PSP owners will have to wait another 2 years.
I’ll admit… I didn’t even know they were making this.
But still, that’s pretty cool. Certainly would be pretty swanky to play on the PSP. I look forward to hearing more about this.
