Brett Ratner, the director of the Rush Hour films and X-Men has confirmed that he is working on a God of War movie. Ratner casually mentioned that he was waiting for the ‘Green light’ for a number of projects including one for God of War.
Not being a marvellous fan of the X-men film, I’m not expecting much from this. I enjoyed the game but I’m not so sure about a possibility of a film
As a film, it has huge potential, but I’m not sure in the hands of Ratner.
What do you guys think?

….Um, well, this guy was good at action.
And GoW is action packed.
Yeh I agree GOW is good, but Ratner is probably not the best man for the job :(
@Savior of the Damned, Agreed, but at least Uwe didn’t get his mits on it. So Im glad.
@Evren, lol Yeah Thank god for that ;)
Video game movies tend to be horrendeously bad, so I don’t have high hopes, and I never did get into this game, but who knows?
X-Men 3 wasn’t the highlight of the series, but it did bring it to a nice close. I thought it was a pretty good movie, actually.
But people are never satisfied with movies based on video games, so people are going to be negative about this anyway.
I thought X-men 3 was the worst out of the lot, but who knows this film may surprise us?
Hope for the best and expect the worst.
What else can you do really?
