Criterion has overhauled and relaunched the Burnout Paradise website today, and with it comes the announcement that the game will be receiving not just one, or two, or three, but four new content packs in the coming months. Cor blimey!
Burnout Paradise has shaken up the console gaming scene quite a bit over the last nine months; whilst most games charge for downloadable content, Criterion has blessed fans of the game with numerous free updates on a regular basic which have completely new content and game modes at no extra cost to the consumer.
Previous content packs have included new online game modes, motorbikes, and a day / night time cycle., and the next content pack will add a completely new location for the Burnout Elite to master.
Over the next month, an announcement of new content will be made every Friday on the new site, starting the week of Hallowe’en. We’ll just have to wait for these announcements to find out what this new content will be, but we’ll be keeping you updated every Friday!

so is that, like, one update a week or is it just them announcing it?

@Samuel, They’re announcing four planned new updates every week for the next four weeks. It’ll obviously take months for all of them to come out.
