Gears of War head honcho, and no Gears of war producer, Cliff Bleszinksy doesn’t want the movie adaptation of his beloved franchise to be like previous adaptations.

When asked by IGN who he wants to play the role of Marcus Fenix, Cliffy was quite clear: “Definitely not a wrestler.

“I think just go with a real actor. You know… like a Clive Owen type; somebody who can actually act and is incredibly charismatic. And they can put him on a workout plan for six months so he can build the muscle mass he needs.”

I doubt that even with a six year workout plan Clive Owen will be as big as Marcus Fenix.
