Update: Blizzard has confirmed this release date to be true.

Although Blizzard Entertainment have yet to make any formal announcement about an official release date for the upcoming World of Warcraft expansion, Wrath of the Lich King, WoWHead is currently sporting a fairly noticeable banner advertising a release date for the title.

November 13th, 2008.

Sooner than we thought, eh?

If this is legitimate, we can expect Blizzard to make an official announcement before the day is out. We’ll definately be keeping you posted!
